i'm on sony firmware 3.3 and i tested on a new mini-pc with the sony remote app original (that comes with the camera) and the last updated but with the problems i mentioned earlier.
i still haven't found a solution.

and also what version of DCC are you using?

Another Question i have is about resolution.

For some reason, i only get full HD (1920*1080) photos, not the full resolution.
It looks like a wi-fi connection limitation. With the camera connected via usb and the sony remote control software (not DCC) i get the whole camera resolution.

So i'am using 2.0.69.0 with an sony a7r2 with some success, i just wanted to ask a question: When connecting with the wifi button, you get a window to select the brand of the camera, in my case sony, and under it you have a box for some kind of scrip/option that ...

So, reverting to the previous version of sony smart remote control app does revert to the old behavior:
No control over the camera apart from live view and taking and transferring photos.

btw, i am using DCC 2.0.69.0 on a win10 64b PC.

Ok, i updated sony smart remote control app and i now have control over the camera, but i get transfer error now:

Transfer error !
Message {0} Could not find file 'C:\users\Romeu\AppData\local\Temp\tmp372D.tmp'

Hi,

I am trying to use digicam control to make a time lapse with an Sony A7r2.

The camera connects correctly and i can take pictures and use the live view, but i can't control the camera settings.
Is there any thing that i need to do so i can have control over the camera?
