I plan on buying a nikon d5300 for the purpose of tethered shooting book-images (covers only). We have a database with titles and descriptions that could easily be exported to csv.
Is it possible to import this into Digicamcontrol, so that the book-titles can be used as filenames for the captured images?
Best,
Erik

Re: import csv
Thank you, I came across that feature but wasn't sure how to use it for my scanning purposes, and I couldn't find more detailed documentation on it either. So this is a bit of speculation on my part: am I right in understanding the barcode-plugin allows me to import my csv with title & description columns, select one of its rows/titles, take a shot and then the image will be tied to the choosen 'record'? (And will be given the name of the title?) If so, I think it will suit my needs perfectly..Duka Istvan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2017 10:01 pm Check this http://digicamcontrol.com/doc/userguide ... ce/barcode
Thanks & regards,

Re: import csv
Yes will add as a new record to the end of row and you can export it later (not very well tested so may contain bugs), in file name template you can use [DB Row 1] or [DB Row 2] template to get an data from cvs list

Thank you Duka, sounds good! I am going to buy that camera (D5300) tomorrow and start experimenting.
