Using digiCamControl for Photogrammetry: Controlling Turntable

Post by WaldoPepper » Thu Nov 23, 2017 5:12 pm

Hi,

I am conducting some experiments with photogrammetry and would like to use digiCamControl.

The setup consist of 1 to 3 DSLR's (which is working fine with dCC) and a turntable connected via serial port (a DAVID TT-1 borrowed from my structure light scanner).

The sequence would be quite simple: capture -> turn 10° -> capture -> turn 10° -> ...

Is there a simple way to send commands (something like "move 10\CR" to a serial port, e.g. via scripting?

Thanks in advance for your help

Kai

...found a solution:

I wrote small .Net program controlling the turntable via serial port and dCC via the "CameraControlRemoteCmd".

I must say that dCC works like a charm!

P.S.: Will donate... ;-)
