I have been running version 2.0.77.1 without problems on my Win7 laptop. I upgraded to 2.1.0 stable. It runs for a short time then "stops working" and is closed by windows. I uninstalled 2.1 and tried to reinstall 2.0 but was unable because it said a version was running. After a foray into the registry and finding and deleting all the left over references to "Digicam" I was able to install the older version but now it too is failing after a short time. The upshot is that I now have no operating version of Digicam Control and my floral specimen has died. I have a Nikon D500 and have used it successfully with this setup quite recently. Up until this little hiccup I have been totally satisfied with the software and look forward to a speedy resolution. At this point I haven't searched for a log file but if there is one, please direct me to it and I will forward same to you.

Further to my previous post:
I reinstalled ver 2.0.77 on the win 7 machine, still no joy. I switched cameras back to the D5100 that was working and again no joy.
Here is the latest log file that includes the last time I used the software successfully, 2.0.77, through to the trials I did today with the D500 then the D5100 attached.

some more info.
Running 2.1.0 on my win10 desktop all seems to be good inasmuch as I can take a series of shots without any problems.
There is one oddity, however. When I first connect the camera, D500, all functions are controllable and initially report as the camera is set up.
When I switch to Live view and go to the control panel the ISO shows as "0" but is adjustable. The ISO in camera was set to 500, I set it to 100 via the control panel. The shutter speed is not controllable at all, set at 1/250 in camera. The series of shots were taken at ISO 500 and 1/250 shutter so there might be a small glitch in the control panel settings.
As an ex electronics tech I like to see things working and am willing, and able, to help wherever possible. If you require information or tests to be run please do not hesitate to ask. PM me at any time.
John

Good morning.
It's just a thought but when the "control" panel was doing strange things my camera was set to "auto ISO".
I'm away for a couple of days so will try with manual ISO when I get back.

I upgraded from the 2.0.74.0 to the stable version 2.1.0.0.
Unfortunately it won't open. After installing it, it's loading and loading without opening the software. Also I tried to download the older version but it keeps telling there is still some stuff from Digicam. I tried to delete as much as possible from old reference but I fail.

I would like to explore this new stable version 2.1.0.0 but I have no

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue. Many thanks in advance.

There is no scroll bar in multi camera control grid view. So when I connect more than 20 cameras, there is no information can show after the 20th cameras.
Could you help to fix this problem? Thanks.
