crashes at loading

Hi,
just installed 2.0.72 on a Dell laptop running Win10Pro-64. Does not go beyond the loading stage.

Net Framework v4.0.30319 installed (part of default Win 10 installation).

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

I'd like to add that I was able to install and run DCC on my desktop, which also runs Win10Pro with the same version of Framework, so obviously my laptop is missing something. Does DCC need some other packages or libraries?
