Shifting Live view window using keyboard?

Post by Hugo » Tue Sep 19, 2017 5:40 pm

Hi,

I'm using digicam Beta with two DSLRs (Nikon 3400 and 7100) as alignment cameras for a scientific setup. I basically only use the live view mode. I have two questions:
i) Is there a way to move where the live view zoomed in is looking with fine control? I'm thinking using the cursors to move it left right etc? Currently I have to zoom out then click with the mouse then zoom in and that's a bit too coarse! I don't know if this exists already and I'm being an idiot?

ii) Every couple of minutes in live view mode the cameras 'click' - I guess as they reset liveview mode. When they do this the live view zoom in seems to translate. As you can imagine this isn't very useful for alignment! Does anyone know how to stop this?

Thanks!
