Intermittent change in photo file format

Post by jakeadelic » Tue Jun 19, 2018 5:12 pm

I am communicating with a Canon SL1 using the command line through "CameraControlCmd.exe". My command line call is "CameraControlCmd.exe /filename [filename].RAW /capturenoaf". Most of the time I get a 1.5-4 MB .RAW file but occasionally I get a 17-24 MB .RAW file that has additional meta data attached to the file's details within properties. These details are from the camera such as aperture, iso, and others. Is it possible to ensure I only receive the 1.5-4 MB .RAW images that do not include the additional properties? I have isolated the issue and ensured the same command line call was producing two different outcomes without any changes to the command line script.
