TCL Scripting

Post by dhull » Fri Jun 29, 2018 2:04 am

I'm new to TCL scripting.

I want to run TCL scripts in a command line format like running the program tclsh from something like a batch script.
However, it seems I can only run this Tcl commands from the Tools->Script Execution. Is this true? Or might I be able to install a library and run Tcl scripts with DCC commands?

Generally, I'm trying to give programmability to myself in an external application to start and stop a video at my request in a fully automated manner so that I don't have to video everything (only when I activate my Tcl script). If I cannot run in this format, how should I solve such a problem?
