Colors with D3400

I am using DigiCamControl with D3400. I have problem when I use it in bad lighting conditions (with projector and reflective surface), the captured image is too bad (colors are not real at all). If I take the image from the camera directly (without digiCamControl), the photo is great and colors are balanced and real. What did I miss?
