Difference RAW and JPEG

Post by Poobird » Wed Mar 14, 2018 11:52 am

Hi there,

I use the stable version of digicamcontrol and I am very happy that you developed this great tool!
I use it for stop motion animation and it works fine with my Canon 700D.
Now I noticed that, when using the Manual Mode on the Canon I can switch the controls like ISO from digicamcontrol
but then I have the problem that when I select JPEG Normal ord Large or small the image is cropped on the left and right side. So I only
can capture a part of the image. When i select RAW it captures the full frame but then the overlay function does not work. So I need
to have the JPEG capture but then the image is cropped.
Do you have a solution for this problem?

Thank you,
P.

Hello again. I solved the problem. It was in the settings of the camera. There was still 1:1 and not 16:9 selected.
so no problem with that anymore!
