Remote Control Webserver access

Post by r2d2 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 6:47 pm

Strange. I can access the Webserver just fine via the notebook that runs
digicamcontrol and is connected to the Nikon D600 when I enter the
http://192.... into the browser, however, I can't access the Webserver
with a remote device (iphone/notebook). In that case the page simply
won't load. Anybody?

Check if your pc have open port 5513 on firewall (that depend which OS and which antivirus do you use) and you should use this option via wifi in local network.

OK, did create a new rule in WIN7 Windows Firewall > Inbound Rules for TCP port 5513, will also check if my router has this port open, if not I'll add, will let you know later if this worked for me, thanks a lot.

OK, it worked, I can now trigger from the iPhone, only I want to use this for self portraits and would need to see the live-view stream on the iphone and also set the AF point. For this I've now got the Nikon WU-1b adapter.
