Nikon d5500 videos get corrupted when downloading over wifi

Post by HyperFelicity » Mon Jun 04, 2018 9:37 pm

I have an issue downloading files off of my nikon d5500 over wifi. For some reason, the viewfinder works great, but when I tell it to save to the pc, it shows that it has downloaded but it was 0MB. Then in the post viewing it only shows the digicam logo.

You can imagine this would be a really annoying issue. I don't have a usb transfer cable, so I don't know if I can use that to fix the problem.

To make matters worse, when I try to open the file with windows, it says that the file is unsupported by windows but we all know that jpegs are definitely supported on windows.

I am trying to use this software to take photos of stars as using a large view finder with the ability to make small increments in the zoom makes it easier to find stars.

Please help me fix this :P

Thanks digicamcontrol community :)
