Version 2.1.0 Incompatable(?) with Windows 10 version 1809

I installed version 2.1.0 on a Windows 10 laptop recently updated to version 1809. The program loads, but won't display the live view window.
I can see in the Windows task view that Digicamcontol is running, but it's window is transparent. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
