Dither issue PHD
I failed to submit this report to right place:

So, it's in the end of the thread. Could you Duka put that this script to a file so I could check if it works in my setup. Now my problem is that I cannot read script file (it returns error).
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><dccscript UseExternal="false" SelectedConfig=""> <commands> <bulbcapture capturetime="30" iso="3200" aperture="ƒ/3,5" /> <phdguiding waittime="5000" movetype="Move 1" /> <bulbcapture capturetime="30" iso="6400" /> <wait time="4" /> <phdguiding waittime="2000" movetype="Move 1" /> <bulbcapture capturetime="30" iso="" aperture="" /> <wait time="4" /> <phdguiding waittime="2000" movetype="Move 1" /> <bulbcapture capturetime="30" iso="" aperture="" /> </commands></dccscript>

Try this. If not working
Try this. If not working please upload the log file again in this thread
Interesting
It didn't even load. So I got suspicious and formatted and installed all again including windows 7. Now it loads just fine Unknown are his ways...Haven't tried with PHD yet but I guess I'm fine now. Thanks a million mate, you're the man!

If you managed to try the PHD
If you managed to try the PHD please report back if working or not, i don't have the required hardware to test this feature
test
Here is small test from yesterday (night). I couldn't get loop function to work so I did manual looping. Loop just returned [] symbol in editor:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><dccscript UseExternal="false" SelectedConfig=""> <commands> <bulbcapture capturetime="240" iso="400" aperture="" /> <phdguiding waittime="4000" movetype="Move 2" /> <wait time="5"/> <bulbcapture capturetime="240" iso="400" aperture="" /> <phdguiding waittime="4000" movetype="Move 2" /> <wait time="5"/> <bulbcapture capturetime="240" iso="400" aperture="" /> <phdguiding waittime="4000" movetype="Move 2" /> <wait time="5"/>etc.... </commands></dccscript> I wonder if there could be possibility ot add PHD dither with standard 5 sec wait option directly to standard bulb capture batch? This would reduce need of scripting. Don't know if move 2 was adequate but these I got from stacking. I took 2 series so it jumps 50 pixels in picture 12. Something is happening though. Maybe I need to increase move command:Registering target image 2 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : +0.04 pxdy : +0.60 px Registering target image 3 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -0.21 pxdy : +0.20 px Registering target image 4 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -0.37 pxdy : -0.43 px Registering target image 5 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -0.59 pxdy : -0.47 px Registering target image 6 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -2.44 pxdy : -0.27 px Registering target image 7 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -3.29 pxdy : -0.43 px Registering target image 8 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.00 degdx : -2.09 pxdy : -1.29 px Registering target image 9 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.01 degdx : -2.93 pxdy : -1.08 px Registering target image 10 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.01 degdx : -6.16 pxdy : -3.48 px Registering target image 11 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.01 degdx : -5.40 pxdy : -2.83 px Registering target image 12 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.01 degdx : -53.22 pxdy : +5.83 px Registering target image 13 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 0.999scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.01 degdx : -54.54 pxdy : +5.51 px Registering target image 14 of 18scale : 0.999scale-X : 0.999scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.02 degdx : -56.03 pxdy : +5.10 px Registering target image 15 of 18scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.02 degdx : -53.52 pxdy : +4.79 px Registering target image 16 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 0.999scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.02 degdx : -54.68 pxdy : +4.20 px Registering target image 17 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 0.999scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.02 degdx : -55.04 pxdy : +4.43 px Registering target image 18 of 18scale : 1.000scale-X : 1.000scale-Y : 1.000rotation : +0.02 degdx : -54.56 pxdy : +3.77 px I'm more than willing to test these features in future. Keep up the good work

I added option for phd now
I added option for phd now you can use it without scripting: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/409 ... .0.650.exe
Ok, I got opportunity to move
Ok, I got opportunity to move my gear out last night and despite of really harsh fogging conditions I managed to make test.
Unfortunately I noticed that focus of my 300mm/2.8 was slightly off so I may not be able to get precise dither information but we’ll see that later today.
This is what I found:
- Scripting works fine. I did 10 exposures with dither commands between and PHD seems to react like it should. Success.
- I did same with all move commands (Move 1 – Move 5) and I have a feeling that higher move commands give better movement with 300mm that Move 1 but this needs to be verified by data. There is also option in PHD to change dither aggressiveness, where I did experiment only 1 and 2.
- For some reason that newly implemented hard coded dither option seems not to work. It looks like that dithering and wait for PHD commands are not somehow recognized. At least wait for PhD command doesn’t increase time between exposures. Also PHD didn’t react to dither commands.
This as small info what I found out yesterday and later today I shall inspect the pictures and find out what kind of dithering there was.

Back once again. I noticed
Back once again. I noticed funny behavior with scripting. For unknown reason exposure fluctuates. I programmed DCC to take 15 sec exposures but they vary between 11 and 15. With 60 sec exposures fluctuation is same (56-60 exposures), odd. My intention was to make comparison between MOVE 1 - Move 5 commands by using 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 but now I can't realle say which belong which group. This is what I get out of Move 5 and dither setting 2 in PHD: Registering target image 1 of 8dx : -0.00 pxdy : -0.00 px Registering target image 2 of 8dx : +3.17 pxdy : +2.94 px Registering target image 3 of 8dx : -1.16 pxdy : +1.38 px Registering target image 4 of 8dx : +1.69 pxdy : +2.27 px Registering target image 5 of 8dx : +1.35 pxdy : +0.15 px Registering target image 6 of 8dx : +2.54 pxdy : +2.54 px Registering target image 7 of 8dx : -0.31 pxdy : +0.45 px Registering target image 8 of 8dx : +1.21 pxdy : +2.15 px I'd say this is ok level of dithering for 300mm/2.8 I put those other exposures in row and just try to evaluate what kind of movement I get. I'll be back.

Thanks for reporting, i will
Thanks for reporting, i will check the code it is sure is something wrong there Hope i will have time in this weekend to fix it.
