Video Restart

It would be very helpful especially for Canon users if similar to magic lantern, by using digicamcontrol movies would automatically start a new file instead of stopping when it hits the 4gb(12min in HD) or 29:59 (in low quality) minute marks. This would be extremely helpful for my Rebel t5.

Can be implemented but will be a gap between two recordings about 1-2 seconds

Hi,

Apologies to raise an old thread from the dead but did this ever get implemented? It would be a really useful feature for me, the small gap between restarts wouldn't be an issue at all.
