Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
My application got crashed after around 30 mins.
Also any work around to keep my Nikkon camera active always in LV mode rather than going idle after certain time.

Tested on a 60D and works fine.
Also tested on a 6D and got this error:
However, after clicking OK everything was working fine.

Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
Working good on a Nikon D5300.
The feature mentioned above would be great to refresh live view every user defined mins.
Also would there be a way to add the ability to reverse the image, like it does in zoom with a webcam (switch left to right)?
Edit: I see zoom has the setting mirror my video, but if you had the setting in your app, one could easily switch back and forth from dsrl to web cam without changing the setting in zoom.
I give Guitar lessons using zoom, and I could get close up views with my dslr zoomed in at my hand, then switch back to web cam to have a full view. Hope that makes sense.
Will this be developed more? I'd be glad to donate something
Thanks so much!
Wyatt

Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
Hiya,
This DOES work (minimally) with Nikon D800 and various software packages.
A hint for others:
* Must close and restart most video apps for the new device to show up
Some anomalies:
* Without any camera controls, it is far less useful
* Your main app somehow keeps Live View running as long as needed. This one stops within 15-30 minutes. That's painful.
* I too would urge allowing for a few resolutions. You have them working perfectly in the "main" app... why not here?
THANKS! Looking forward to your next version

I get the same error on my Canon 700D. The Live View looks fine, but when I use it in Zoom or Discord the video appears to be interlaced(?).

But the app opened fine anyway and this error is now gone with my 6D:
Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
Hello guys,
this piece of software would be a dream to me, I am tired of looking yellow and overexposed from the built-in Webcam
My camera is not supported, but I thought I post my experience anyway:
Olympus OMD EM1 mark iii set to tethering mode
The camera is recognized by the software, the name and serial number is displayed in the upper left corner
There is no further function: no live view
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support.
best regards
Christoph

Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
I tried this version but still get the same error that Lurchi already described expect a not supported resolution of 928 x 616. Already got this error with your previous version. I'm using a EOS 500D.admin wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 1:39 pm Can you check this version https://s3.amazonaws.com/download.digic ... .0.0.2.zip
However, I can actually get a working webcam with the full digicamcontrol and another IP camera to webcam mapping tool. But thats not very convenient
