64-bit Nikon support

Post by pocruadhlaoich » Wed Apr 08, 2015 4:48 pm

Hi,sometime in the near future I will probably be looking at integrating digiCamControl into my software. I currently have a 32-bit native C++ application which interacts with Nikon cameras via the Nikon MAID SDK. I had been under the belief that Nikon cameras would only work when connected to a 32-bit application. Given another thread ( http://digicamcontrol.com/forum/general ... ing-64-bit ), can someone confirm to me please if it is possible to build digiCamControl as a 64-bit application and will it then work with Nikon or even Canon cameras? If so, how is this possible? Thanks,Patrick

Hi Duka, thanks for the reply. Do you have any idea what camera models you can use with a 64-bit digiCamControl please? I am most interested in Nikon and Canon. Thanks!
