Addition of more cameras?

Hello,

Saw this program and thought this was the ticket. See I have a S3 Pro and wanted to tether it to my laptop. Problem is the Hyper program is the one that came with this camera, but I purchased the camera on ebay and do not have the program. My question is, are you going to be adding any cameras in the near future, namely the FujiFilm FinePix S3 Pro?

Try to connect the camera with the software and post the log file (Settings->Locate log file)

Reading about fuji cameras i don't found any documentation about how can be controled, but i fund some information about FujiFilm FinePix S5 i think in same way can be controled the FujiFilm FinePix S3 Pro too. I you hawe time and patience we can try to implement the support.

When I hook up the camera and take a pic, nothing happens but the curser blinks once real fast. Her is a log file from it.

Set you camera in PTP mode (not mas storage) and install this version : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40987577/NCC/d ... .9.501.exe , run in start menu DigiCamControl->MTPTester-> FIle-> New  select you device and after that File->Save as and send me back that file. Thanks in advance.

Couple things:

Not sure I can change from Mass storage to PTP. Here is what it says in manual:

USB MODE
DSC (Mass storage device) mode
This mode provides a simple way to read images from an a
media and store images onto a media.
The USB interface connection can be used for high-speed
file transfer.

PictBridge
If a printer that supports PictBridge is available, images can
be printed by connecting the camera directly to the
PictBridge-compatible printer without using a computer.


2nd :

I removed other version and dl the new one you suggest. I ran it from the start ( MTPTester ) and it did recognize the camera make and model ( other version only saw it as G:/ drive and when it is on mass storage ) . When i went to get the file I got this error:

General errorObject not set to an object. ( in a windows box )

So i'm guessing that is because it is still in mass storage mode???

Set it to pict brige and even if you got error in MTP tester save the file and post in this thread or send me at admin [at] digicamcontrol [dot] comThaks for testing

Ok, did the test. Not sure if this info helps as I am not a programmer, this might be useless stuff.

I put what was in there in that last post and all that showed up was the bottom line. Don't think much was recorded. Im doing something wrong I think.
