problem live view with Nikon D5100

I can't reach the live view with nikon D5100. the "button" LV is inactive. Someone can help me?

5100 working here

Peres, I have connected and used my D5100 several times and it has worked nicely. Check the battery level in your camera. Sometimes live view doesn't work when the battery isn't full. Martin

Same problem with D7100

LV button is grey-ed out. Battery is fully charged. Log file doesn't indicate any errors.
Should I be using the "Native" driver or not? Trying to select the non-native driver results in a crash.
Running on WinXP SP3.

There is some cases when window XP isn't recognize the camera as mtp device.Please check this solution : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2905 ... windows-xp this should help

Hi Peres,Do you mean the LV on the camera or on the application?\With my D5100 the camera LV is non-functional, I use LV on the application. - Mark
