WebCam no longer functioning

I used to use version 2.1.1.0 and my webcam functioned as expected. A short while back, I got a BSOD and then the software hung on booting. I uninstalled it and upgraded to version 2.1.2.0 (which disables webcam by default, according the to change log).

I went into the advanced options and tried to enable the webcam but noticed two points:
There are two options available to activate webcam (one which cannot be selected/changed and the second which was already selected). I've tried to un select and re select it but it made no difference. I then tried uninstalling V2.1.2.0 and re installing V2.1.1.0. The software no longer hangs at the boot screen but the webcam is still not recognized/enabled. I have tested the webcam with other software and it is functioning as expected.

Can anyone please give me some idea of what I'm overlooking?

You still need to reenable the webcam support and restart the app

I cant get my D7100 to become a webcam either.
Windows 10 pro
Latest stable (2.1.2.0?)
USB Live view and webserver functions work.

Also having this issue. The .2 version above didn't seem to load/startup for me after installing it. Hoping a new update/release will fix this.

The built-in camera on my Windows 10 laptop is no longer functioning!!!! Apparently Digital Camera Control has killed the built in camera in favor of a USB camera link that is not connected. The error code on my Windows 10 laptop is 0xAOOF4244 <NoCamerasAreAttached> Are there any suggestions how to restore my laptop camera??

My D7100 is not working as a webcam either. I tried everything but it is not displaying as a second webcam in skype and in Zoom It shows as a second camera but has no image.
Does anyone have any idea?

It shows the live view, takes pictures, makes videos, but doesn't work as a webcam.
