Barcode File naming

Dear All,
my question would be, if it is possible that when I name my pictures with a barcode over the barcode window, and I scan a barcode a second time, because I take more pictures of a product, I would like to have to append a Letter to the name.
For examle: first I scan the Barcode XX0001, a picture is taken, and the picrute is saved as XX0001.jpg. Then I scan the barcode XX0001 a second time, and when the picture saved it should not be overwritten, it should be saved as XX0001a.jpg.
Is this possible somehow?
