DigiCamControl is an open and free Windows app that helps you manage DSLR cameras through a USB or WiFi connection. Most of the cameras supported by DigiCamControl are Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras. Please check if your camera brand is on the list right here. http://digicamcontrol.com/cameras

1. Capture

You only need a USB. You will also be able to trigger image capture using the release button on the camera.

By using the advanced interval meter, you also have the chance to:

  • Capture with multiple cameras
  • Execute a script for every capture intervals
  • Start/Stop every day with selectable weekdays
  • Start/Stop at a specific date and hour

2. Advanced astronomy module

It allows you to have multiple photos with bulb mode settings. AAM also supports external shutter release devices with no bulb mode support.

3. Branding

This feature sets the app control visibility and changes the app's name and logo.

4. Live view

The following function is controlling the image via the camera on your computer screen, records video, starts taking the picture by motion detection, and it also has a precise manual focus.

Besides this, our DigiCamControl is also able to print more than one photo, offer time-lapse video, control live view in a web browser, and do script commands from the browser.

  • This is fantastic! I have it on my HTPC attached to a 50" plasma TV in my recroom / photo studio. With my D7000 attached to the PC via USB I can see the images on the big screen as I shoot. Very cool stuff!
