The camera connects but it does not put the camera in view mode. Connects by way of USB and WIFI but either connection does not activate the Lv key. The DSC-HX80 is on the approved list of cameras. I must be missing a step. The screen on the camera in USB mode says USB mode MTP (USB) and in the USB mode the camera screen says operate the smart phone to scan the QR code with play memories mobile ssid: direct-fwc2:dsc-hx80.

did your Problem ever got solved?
Because I think I had the same.

My HX80 was displayed in the camera list but wasn't controlable in any way.
"This function isn't implemented" did the error pop up say if I tried to take a picture.
