Camera settings via cmd

Post by aharmer » Tue Aug 16, 2022 4:09 am

Hi ,
I have a Canon 7d mkii and 5d mkii connected. I can control both and all settings using the gui. However, when trying to use the cmd.exe or remotecmd.exe, the cameras are detected but I cannot retrieve the camera settings.
For example, CameraControlRemoteCmd.exe /c list iso returns No iso.
I thought this might be because the mkii aren't listed in supported cameras, but then again I can control them from the gui. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

type into cmd (including the quotes) - "C:\Program Files (x86)\digiCamControl\cameracontrolremotecmd.exe" /clean /c get iso (shutterspeed, aperture etc) and you'll get the returns you're looking for.
Good luck on your quests
