Hi Duka,
I'm getting the same error message when in LiveView mode I try to record a movie.
I believe my gear is in a very good state. I work with a Dell under Windows 8, my camera is a D90.
In photo mode, the software works great.
Can yu please help?
cheers, S.

Same Problem with D90

Post by Jenny H » Sat Jul 13, 2013 12:44 am

I have the same error with the Start Record Movie in LiveView when using a Nikon D90. I have turned the camera on and off and tired using the camera software on different computers. I have attached the log file below. Please let me know if there is a fix to this solution. I would really appreciate it.
I was also wondering if it is possible to take HD videos with the Digicamcontrol using the D90 or any other Nikon camera.

Thank You!

Nikon D5000 Video Recording Error

Post by CosminGrigore » Sun Feb 23, 2014 9:52 pm

Hello. Very nice software for my Nikon D5000, but I took it for recording video files while I can see what I'm recordin on my laptop. But when I enter in Live mode and press Start Record Movie, it gives my some error: Device MTP error code: 8007001F. What can I do to make it work. I unplugged the usb and plugged in into another usb port and reinstalled the software, but nothing changed.   Thanks for help!

Seems the D90 & D5000 not

Seems the D90 & D5000 not support video recording via USB connection, this is a limitation of the firmware
