Intermittent Change in Photo Format

Post by jakeadelic » Tue Jun 19, 2018 4:48 pm

I am communicating with my Canon SL1 camera through the command line using CameraControlCmd.exe. I am calling "CameraControlCmd.exe /filename [filename].RAW /capturenoaf" to capture and store images. Most of my images come across as 1-4 MB .RAW files but intermittently a 16-23 MB .RAW file is produced with additional property details tagged to the image relating to the camera's settings (e.g. aperture, iso, etc.). There is no change in my command line script to cause this change in formatting. Is there a way to avoid this?

The 1-4 mb can't be raw file i think it is a jpg file.
Can you check your camera if the file format isn't set to jpg+raw ?
