BSoD (2.1.0.0 or 2.1.1.0) and Laptop Integrated Webcam

Post by lhm4000 » Mon Jul 08, 2019 10:10 pm

Hello,

Prior to the latest large Windows 10 update, I could run the 2.1.0.0 version fine. Now, every time I run it (or the new latest version 2.1.1.0) I get a blue screen crash and the laptop's webcam active light is on.
The BSoD says it's the oem02dev.sys driver SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. The laptop integrated webcam has the latest driver for it.
The only way I can get digiCamControl to run is by disabling the integrated webcam in the device manager.

This is NOT a solution but just a temporary way that I am finally able to run digiCamControl.

What is the permanent solution to this serious problem?

Thank you for a quick reply,

Lamar

After you disabled the webcamera run digicamcontrol and in the Menu=>Settings=>Advanced uncheck the webcam support after that you can reenable theoretically your webcam in device manager, for long term i will try to find a solution for this issue.
