Issue with continuous shooting Nikon D3300

I just started using 2 Nikon D3300's. With the continuous shot mode set at 10/rapid, one of the cameras will only do a burst of 4, the other does 10 no problem. On stand alone operation without the USB cord attached, the burst mode seems fine. I can only imagine the issue is with the camera, not digicam. Any ideas?
