I'm buyin Helicon Remote

I have been using DigicamControl since version 1 with my D5100 camera. Then, Digicamcontrol was the best software there was and being free, it was even better.
Today, with a D500 and Windows 11, Digicamcontrol is totally unreliable.
I am constantly experiencing the software completely shutting down after 3 or 4 shots.
If it does manage to complete a run of 50 or 100 shots, it then locks up the computer such that "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" and Task Manager to close the program, or a full restart, is the only way to recover.
When it does work, it is still very good but the ratio of working to not working is far too high..
I have tried all previous iterations of version 2 with similar results across the board.
I do wonder if the open source is a potential cause of the problems? The old adage of "too many cooks" may well be at play here.
With that said, I am, sadly, ditching Digicamcontrol and purchasing Helicon Remote.
