i am working in a small startup team, and we are building 3d scanner. Idea is to connect 32 cameras over USB, trigger shutters at the same time and retrieve photos sequentially..
Now the question. How many different usb camera standard protocols are there?
webcameras are not an option, as we cannot do 32 livestreams and frame capture at the same time
I have tried connecting Nikon Coolpix L26 and it works with the digicamcontrol software just by taking and retrieving pictures.. i havent expected to work at all.. Nikon D3200 works with full control of camera..
I see in supported cameras different coolpix models, but they all use same nikon protocol, right?
which generic protocol support remote shutter triggering and delayed photo retrieval ?
