My Nikon d5100 isn't detected

Post by Bunot » Wed Apr 29, 2020 4:37 pm

I have my Nikon d5100 connected via an hdmi cable that is one side mini hdmi one normal. When I open digicam it isn't detectable. Do I have to connect in a different hdmi port?(it is currently connected in the motherboard port). Do I have to change some settings in the camera or do I need a different cable?

My Nikon D5100 isn't detected with ACASIS Video Capture Card

Post by Yojib » Sun Jul 17, 2022 4:53 pm

Thanks for creating digiCamControl. I works wonderfully with the standard low resolution USB cable. I'm trying the improve the image live view quality and just obtained a ACASIS 1080P Video Capture Card that connects to Windows laptop via Type C USB. Windows automatically detects the HD31 driver and I'm able to get live View on OBS. However digiCamControl does not recognize the HD31 driver and I cannot pick up the live view. Can you add this driver to digiCam. Thanks.

The resolution is bad on USB. I'm posting the video on Teams Live Event to goes our to a large number of people.
Appreciate if you could add the driver.
