DSLR as Virtual Webcam
DSLR as Virtual Webcam
I'm trying to mage a simple solution for any DSLR camera to show up as web camera.
SO i need some feed back ...
Download and unzip the file and start the DSLRCam.exe, if you have a camera connected hit the Start Live View button. Now you should have a DCC Virtual Camera (not digiCamControl Virtual WebCam !!!!!) which should work as a web camera and can be used in Skype, Zoom, Facebook or YouTube.
This is a standalone application no need to run the original digiCamControl !!!
Download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/digica ... e/download
Don't expect a really good image quality because the live view resolution it is low for every camera. Also the application may contain error so don't use in production system.

Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
Hi there,
thanks, the LIVE View works with my D4, but in ZOOM or BLIZZ NO -"DCC Virtual Camera" in Camera selection. There are three OBS-Cameras (obs Studio).
Where should this "DCC Virtual Camera" create in Windows 10 Settings?

Can you check this version https://s3.amazonaws.com/download.digic ... .0.0.2.zip

Cool
that works all fine now in ZOOM and BLIZZ. Many thanks - perhaps you can integrate this in the Main CamControl.

Hola,
he instalado camara virtual DCC. Muchas gracias.

Hi,
I just checked the DSLRCam_1.0.0.2 and try it with my EOS 1100 D
At OBS :
DCC Virtual Cam appears, but no picture
Starting OBS as admin, as well the DSLRCam.exe
No changes
At webex
DCC Virtual Camera appears WITH picture
AS well as admin and normal user
Maybe you can go ahead with the programming.
If you need testing support, let me know.
Regards

Hi, this is amazing and exactly what I was looking for!
It works perfectly as is with zoom and the lag is almost negligible, compared to the standard digicam release live view which wasn't very usable because of the audio/video sync issues.
However, it's not recognized in OBS as the above poster said. If there was a way to do this (even if it's through using the webserver link, this works in the standard release with OBS browser source) that would be fantastic. Looking forward to any updates on this, thank you very much for it!

Hi,
Nikkon D3200 working fine. Resolution wise is rather low (640x424) any chance I could manually increase the resolution?
Thanks for all the hard work

Re: DSLR as Virtual Webcam
Works flawlessly with Nikon D3200 and Zoom.
My camera turns off Live View after 30 minutes though. No big deal, I just press Start again.
So I suggest a new feature: Auto Restart Live View every x minutes.
