Camera not found by program after all troubleshooting steps

I have a Nikon D80 that works well, and is seen by my computer (win10pro) without issue. I have spent 5 hours straight trying to research and troubleshoot my way into making digicamcontrol see my camera. I have verified multiple usb cables, different camera batteries, different sd cards. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both drivers for my camera and the software as well. The software is the latest release because I downloaded it 12/11/24. I have also hard restarted my laptop as well. I have a photoshoot coming up in a few days and need to be able to see the pictures as i take them to verify quality on the fly.
